Hi, I had a section on August 2nd. It was my second section, my first was an emergency section and the recovery from what I remember was quick. My first was also a classic insision and this one was just the horizontal insision. This time it seems like its taking a long time just for the insision to close. I had my staples removed on the 5th and they were replaced by tape. I was told to keep the tape on for 10 days but after about 4 days the tape started falling off. Theres also alot of fluid leaking and the nurse I recently spoke to only said that if I get a fever and my insision starts leaking green fluid to go to the hospital. The fluid that is leaking is yellow and doesnt smell to pleasent. I shower daily and let it air dry like recommended I just dont know if its all normal because its a different cut from the first. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks

I had yellow, somewhat foul-smelling seaping with all of my c-sections. If it is a little oozing that is normal, but if it's leaking quite a bit I'd make an appointment to have it looked at to be safe. (I had dissolving st_tches.)
