Post C Section Ab Excercises

My wife had our last child 11yrs ago(2 total). She is almost the size she was when we met. But she is concerned with the little puff belly she still has. She works out and has strong abs but the puff remains. No matter how many times I tell her she looks great, she is still a little self conscience about it. She heard that as a result of a c-section the stomach muscle is cut in two and doesn't heal back to its original state, as a result you can't get a flat tummy no matter how many sit ups, etc. you do. Is this true or is there some kind of exercise that will eleviate this problem.

The muscles in her stomach are supposed to heal after a year. If she still has the pudge, Im afraid it wont go away. The only thing i can suggest is a tummy tuck.

Canyou get a flat stomach after a c-section birth with diet and excercise? I had my first child 3 rys ago and decided to loose some weight but everyone keeps telling me that I will not loose my stomach. Is this true?
