i know that you have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to have s_x after a va___al birth but is there a certain amount of time you have to wait to have s_x after a c section?

My doctor told me to wait 6 weeks. I had s_x 5 1/2 weeks after my c-sections and it was fine, just a little uncomfortable.
