i live in the mercaz. i'm planning on having the babies in laniado hosp in netanya. i had 3 of my kids there and i had 1 in bnei brak. laniado is excellent but i'm still freaked out about the csection. jenny, you just had a csection?! mazel tov! how are you feeling? was it as terrible as i'm afraid it will be? someone from another thread wrote me about her csection that she had last week and she said it was fine but the spinal made her throw up alot - and i HATE throwing up. my sis in law had 3 csections also in laniado andshe said the spinal didn't make her throw up. can't you choose to have an epidual instead? ahhhhh! this is freaking me out! where in israel are you guys?

hey jenn. i live near jerusalem :) anyways, my boy is 6 months old next week. it seems like i was in labour yesterday. time flies! i gave birth at bikur cholim in jerusalem and i was very happy. i heard laniado is great. they are the best there apparently. just you should know that the gynecology dept in our country is very good so you dont have wat to worry about. by the way i had a natural birth with no epidural and i still threw up during labour... haha. jenny had a c-section last week so maybe she has more info about that. wow twins! wen are they due???

Sorry to b___t in, but Jenn95... I think it depends on the person... but my experience was I had an epidural (while in labor with my oldest) and eventually had a c-section and threw up when they moved me from the Op table to my recovery bed. I had a scheduled c-section with my dd and had a spinal that time and had some nausea, but I had told them about my history of nausea and vomiting after my c-section beforehand and they had anti-nausea meds there. They gave them to me as soon as I said I was feeling sick. They really worked, but made me itch like crazy on my face, BUT they have meds for that, too lol.

... they told me that when your blood pressure drops in surgery it can make you nauseas (sp?).

Hey I had forgotten about the nausea. I did have a wave of nausea sweep over me while on the table when I was getting put back together. I was fine one minute and the next I felt like I was going to throwup. I yelled out that I thought I was going to puke. The aneasethologist said "Yeah, I know. I could see you swallowing more so I'm already on it". About three seconds later the drugs were in my IV and I felt fine. He kept giving them to me for the remainder of the surgery and had them give me more during recover. No problems with nausea the rest of the time.

Hi Jenn (and apr!) well, i Iive in Jerusalem, so i gave birth in Hadda__sa Ein Karem. I found the experience excellent, although mine was an emergency c, so i didn't have the the thought of it hanging over me for months.... I had had an epidural put in before we knew i needed the c-section, so all they had to do was top it up for the operation. I felt no pain at all- didn't even feel them put in the epi, and it definitely didn;t make me throw up. all i felt was a lot of tugging-i could actually feel them moving stuff around inside of me- but it didn't hurt at all- just felt weird, and then i heard my babies beautiful cry! i think the most uncomfortable part of the whole experience was the catheter, to be quite honest. The only pain i felt during recovery was that getting out of bed hurt the incision, but that pain disappeared as soon as i started walking. where in bnei brak did u give birth? Ma'ayenei? I had surgery for an ectopic pregnancy there, and i liked the place but i felt it was too far from home to give birth there. I'm pretty sure you can request an epidural instead of a spinal, though- don't see why you shouldn't. In any case, i definitely wouldn't say it was a terrible experience at all. I've never had a natural birth but some of those women sure looked a hell of a lot more uncomfortable than i did! why are you having a c-secion, by the way?

hi jenn i had my first c-section after 2 v____al deliveries. I have two older daughters 3 and 21 months, i didnt have a whole lot of help my husband was gone working far away (he wasnt even here for the delivery!!!) i bounced back quite quickly i am only three weeks post op and i feel great. even a few days after i felt pretty much normal. You might feel more uncomfortable when the st_tches or staples are in trust me once there gone you feel a whole lot better!! My mom had c-section twice for twins and she had no complications so good luck with two little ones!!!!
