Too Narrow Bones For Natural Delievery

Hi ,my Dr says my bones are too narrow for natural delievery so he might have to do c-section?has anybody heard of that or had that?????aren't the bones su[pposed to expand?

They can, and they do, wait until you have a trial of labor if possible, or ask your doctor how he determines that before labor begins. I did indeed, have too narrow a pelvis due to pelvic "immaturity" but my sis was told something similar before she went into labor and ended up having an 8 pound girl. Her bones expanded during labor just fine. Best of luck to you.

I just had my baby 2 weeks ago and my doctor said that after 12 hours of labor that I needed an emergency c-section which I did have done. He said that my pelvis bone was 2 close 2gether and that if I was to refuse the c-section then the same thing would happen to me as I had done with my first child. Episiotomy, forcepts and the vacuum used. With my first child marks were left by the forcepts and the vacuum and I didn't want my 2nd child to go through that! Best of luck!
