Wanting To Get Pregnant Again

I had my second cesarean delivery in November due my daughter was stillborn at 7 months. I want to get pregnant again. How long should I wait before trying again?

I had my third c section in Feb & I'm having my fourth in May. I had my first c section Aug. 1998 and my 2nd in May of 2000. No problems at all for me. Hope this helps!

Tigger, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels. I lost my daughter (our first child) at almost 41 weeks to a cord accident this past August (I was scheduled to have a c-section on August 13 because she was breech and she died on August 11). How have you physically recovered? I recovered pretty well and my doctor told me that it was ok to try again after 2 normal periods.My doc says the uterus is an amazingly strong muscle (she had 3 uterine surgeries herself before she had her baby) and the only concern about having a pregnancy again so soon would be if you wanted to do a VBAC, which I personally have no interest in next time around. I have had 3 periods, but DH and I moved about a month and a half ago and are waiting for his job situation and health insurance to settle before we try again. Hopefully that will be next month. Please feel free to talk to me, as I have found it helpful to vent to other women who have been through the same thing. I will keep you in my prayers.
