Accidental Alcohol Consumption

I am 32 weeks pregnant and ate steak with a special dressing that had been made on top- the dressing apparently contained tequila in it and while I had less than a tablespoon of the dressing (I believe the entire dressing contained less than a shot)- I am freaking out! It was warmed in a microwave, but I know that it was not cooked long enough to have cooked the alcohol out. I feel like I am a terrible mother for allowing this to happen. Has anyone else ingested food containing alcohol while pregnant?

You have absolutley nothing to worry about, you are so okay and so is your baby. Relax.

Consider this: Women in France drink a gla__s of wine every day even during pregnany and b___stfeeding. That tiny amount is not going to harm your baby. Many recent research actually suggest a gla__s of red wine here and there can actually be beneficial during pregnancy and b___stfeeding. Of course, doctors don't want to tell people this because they are afraid moms will go overboard. But even a doctor would tell you that tiny amount in your food is not going to harm your baby.
