I have been eating like crazy, and I know I'm eating for two now, but I've been eating all day long. Between meals I try and eat frutis, veggies, yogurts, crackers, and stuff like that (try to stay away from junk food), but sometimes I'll eat nachos or popcorn or even pie and I don't know if I'm eating too much.

As long as you aren't really overweight you should be able to eat as much as you want. Just make sure you have enough healthy food in there along with all the goodies which you seem to be doing already. I'm very pet_te around 110 pounds and I gained 52 pounds with my daughter! It was all belly, like a basketball and then some. I actually bought a scale because I was worried about not gaining enough weight because I've never been able to gain any in the past no matter how much I ate, but boy was i wrong! You're typically supposed to gain between 25-35 pounds when you're pregnant.

You'll find that your appet_te fluxuates throughout pregnancy. I was the same up until a few weeks ago and had to nosh all day. Now that I'm further along, I don't get quite so ravenously hungry, though I understand that it will return. Try to prioritize your fruits and veggies and fill in with protein, carbs and lastly "junk." You'll be just fine!

I too am a little over 5 weeks and feel hunger pains, my boyfriend thinks it is all in myhead because his mother and cousin have had numerous pregnancies and give him advice. Part of it probably is but i'm sure it will kind of work itself out.
