I have always indulged in carbohydrate based foods but since I've been pregnant I've found I've eaten loads and loads of bread! I have 2 slices of toast with butter every morning, sandwiches for lunch and then I normally have bread with my evening meal. Should I be cutting back on this or is it ok to indulge?

I have the same thing! And i was low carb before I was preg. I asked my doctor about it. I have to have a bagel for breakfast, I then have a PB sandwich for lunch and then something with carbs at dinner, I also add veggies, dairy and fruit to my diet but A LOT of carbs. It's funny because whenever I try to cut back and eat more of the veggie/fruit stuff, I get sick. My doctor said it sounds like that is what my body needs and to stick with it. I am not gaining more weight then supposed to, so it's fine. I still take my vitamins and make sure I still add all the other good stuff but my doctor(s) (a medical group) all said it's fine as long as i am not packing on too much weight. And i was low carb before I was preg.

i eat a lot of bread too and fruits make me feel sick as well. But I have gained a lot of weight already and I doctor found sugar in my urine...so I might have to go on a special diet and limit carbs.
