Is It Safe To Eat Longan During Pregnancy

Hi..i am just 5 weeks pregnant and ate a few fresh longans..i am worried as i dont know whether they are safe during pregnancy. Please Guide.

Hi Misha, I've never heard eating longans is not safe during pregnancy. Some people said, because the fruit is sweet, it's 'heaty' and you'll get sore throat and cough (this happens also to non-pregnant people). So I guess, just don't overeat them and always make sure you wash off the pesticide on the skin.

I have never heard of wether longans are safe/unsafe for pregnancy. But if you didn't eat too much, there should not be a problem.
