everyone has told me to becareful with salts/sodiums. i have within the past week or so been noticing swelling in my feet. it was very minor and didnt cause any sensitivity what so ever. WELL, i went on a trip out of town yesterday and did fine, on the way home though, it got bad. when we got home i could barely get up on my feet because of the pain! they look like ballons! my cravings are for salty foods, i dont want sweets at all. this is gonna suck! is this normal or is there something going on?

Actually you are probably swelling BECAUSE you have cut out too much salt from your diet. You gain 50% more blood volume during pregnancy and you need salt to sustain that much more blood. Check out http://blueribbonbaby.org/ for a full explanation.
