Soft Serve Icecream Is This Safe To Eat

I read somewhere that soft serve icecream wasn't safe for you to eat while pregnant. Has anyone else heard about this?

On the website ready, steady, baby it said that icecream made from soft serve machines may pose a risk of having listeria. It sounds crazy to me!

I never heard that in all the research I did when I was pregnant. I ate a ton of it when I was pregnant. I never had any problems, and my baby is fine.

I know this post is a little old, but my high risk OB told me that soft-serve machines were one of the TOP places they have traced cases of listeria too! Scary, huh?
