Yes-some say it has to be no pink-all the way done-so that it's free from bacteria-when I was pregnant with my first I craved t-bones cooked medium and I never got sick-son was a healthy 10 pounds! I craved meat all the time!

Steak is great! However because you will be BBQing, it might be better to make sure it's welldone. I love my steaks medium well, but I've upped my standard just for my pregnancy. Have fun!

Steak is yum, but I do find that BBQ meat has been giving me heart burn since being pregnant

I prefer medium to medium well cooked steaks, is that okay during my pregnancy?

Probably not. It is recommended that red meat be cooked thoroughly before eating. Which means medium well to well done. I prefer mine medium rare so needless to say I haven't had a steak since I found out I was pregnant!
