I'm about 15 weeks and since I got pregnant I haven't been able eat Chinese food. I LOVE Chinese food but right now even the smell makes me queasy.

I had an aversion to meat during my last pregnancy and again so far this time, too. They say if you can't tolerate meat, that it's a girl!! But when I was nursing my first daughter, I craved meat! I couldn't get enough steak. When you nurse you really need a ton of protein, much mre so than during pregnancy.

Before I got pregnant, I loved pasta salad. In my first trimester and a little bit of my 2nd trimester I couldn't stand it! I would think that you're aversions will gradually go away. I can totally eat pasta salad now and it's great!

I have an aversion to EVERYTHING that has a smell. I have been eating carbs like crackers, granola bars, water, etc. I feel awful and I am worried I am not getting enough nutrients! I am taking a prenatal vitamin but it's hard to get in enough calories and water during the day. I have NEVER had a problem eating before but now I feel like I have an eating disorder or something. Even besides the nausea, I can't eat without thinking about the heartburn that it is going to cause. Angee, that pizza thing, I'm right there with you. I had it right when I was starting to get sick and it gave me the worst heartburn. I make my poor husband eat it in another room now! (As for the meat....I can't even attempt that one!)
