i am terrified of eating most meat (not an animal thing at all) its the equivalent of beiing afraid to eat a vegetable, its unreasonable, but if you asked me to eat chicken or a spider i'd be hard up to decide. i'm afraid of hurting my baby and my body. how do i over come this?

There's no reason you should be forced to eat meat if it's something that's giving you the heebie jeebies. No problem at all in fact as long as you are finding alternate protein sources such as tofu, cottage cheese, hard cheese, eggs, and beans or "legumes" as they're called. I dislike most meat anyway and find I either eat like a vegetarian or it's steak or shrimp. All other meat is gross. Just don't forget your prenatals and all should be fine. Pregnancy does weird things to us and it may very well be your body craving non-animal food sources. It's ok!
