Not to brag but i've always had a verry fit body i weighed 117lbs had no cellulite anywhere. Now at 31 weeks and 143lbs later i have cellulite from my waist down to my calfs (the excessive mash potatoes and cheese probebly arent helping any). I've never seen cellulite in calfs before i dont even know if thats normal. How can i get rid of and control it. HELP!!!

I know exactly how you feel! I am 34 weeks and started out really fit as well ( 5"8 125 lbs ) and had no cellulite and now i feel like a ball of cheese! I am hoping it is from all the excess water and it will go away after i deliver. I have gained about 30 lbs so far, so its pretty average weight gain not excessive. But d__n its frustrating!

I was the exact same, pre-pregancy weight was 115 lbs, and now I've gained 30 pounds and I'm 33 weeks. I was always into staying in shape with no cellulite as well, but now it's a completely different story. I have some on my back, b___t, thighs, and arms.......wow! But I've heard after the pregnancy it will all go away.....hang in there!

My baby is 5 months and I am still trying to lose this extra weight. I have fat now. It's weird. I too was 117-120 and small frame, and wow my b___t and everything else grew.
With a lot of working out you will lose it. I just haven't worked out hard enough yet due to back pain, but as soon as I can I will be in the gym. My trainer suggested to me cardio will do the trick. It's frautrusting when you have never been heavy. I am now and it's awful, but I will soon lose it all. I am giving myself a full year.
Good luck!

I hate all this weight worry! I too started out thin and fit 5'6" 120 lbs, and just the 13 pounds I've gained make me feel HUGE. Guess I better get used to it!

Thank God, I though I was the only one whose thights and b___tocks looked like a down conforter (please, not that I am happy that it happened to you all, but at least it means it is normal!). I hope dani is right and it will go away..... together with the BLACK HUGE nipples, and the fuzzy belly, and the sideburns and the....ecc...

I got cellulite too and have been using two products that have really helped me.
Healing Garden's cellulite foam is really great. I started to see results within 1 week. There was a dramatic difference after using the product for one month, however when I stopped for a couple of weeks I saw the cellulite coming back so it is not permanent. I also use Jergen's body firming lotion and I think that is helping too. I would recommend both products.

Mel, was is before or after having your baby? I read you should not use any anti-celullite cream while pregnant, but if you recommend it, I will try.

I am 19 weeks and have no cellulite yet, but let me tell you guys, my sister in law who was tiny and has the best olive skin than anyone I know and no cellulite whatsoever, got some on her stomach and legs and b___t. Saw her in a bathing suit all that summer with it. It stayed for a while, like 2 years (she never dieted because she only gained about 25 lbs and most of it went away). But now that my nephew is 4 it's all gone and she has no cellulite whatsoever. It's hereditary.

i just read in Fit Pregnancy magazine this month NOT to use anti-cellulite creams during pregnancy. I was totally bummed because I just invested a pretty penny in some to combat the cellulite that has appeared out of no where!! This sucks!! My legs were my pride and glory!! lol

I am not sure if this will help or at least place some rea__surance but here goes...
the fat you acc_mulate on your body will disappear while b___stfeeding. It is the additional weight gain that makes the body fat harder to reduce. I am sure all of you women know this. I too am upset with the chunk that seems to be appearing on my a__s, and upper thighs. I trained hard, was extremely lean and tight, but surprise!! Like you my body has a mind of its own. I just keep on thinking that in a few months this body change and adjustment will be over. It is a journey that I wish I could learn to fully appreciate.
