I am 33 wks. and just tried preg. yoga, which was A WORKOUT for me! I wasn't even doing what the women on the screen were! Everyone is different, I'd be wary about the weights, and over heating ...but more power to you. You'll probably have a great delivery due to all the excercise you do! (Eat a donut for me!) Find time to relax A LOT though, because I know a lot of activity can cause stress to a baby, which is pretty serious.

I workout regularly and everyone is telling me I'm overdoing as well, but I think it's because ppl are just not used to it yet. I do cardio and weight training, but I do worry about which exercises I'm not allowed to do and information is very ambiguous and scarce. I listen to my body and I know that I'm not supposed to lie down on my back (by the 4th month) because it restricts the oxygen supply to the baby. Another thing I know is that you shouldn't strain your muscles too much (go for higher # of reps during weight training) because the acids produced during muscle recovery are harmful to the baby. I think ppl are just jealous and ignorant, especially the ones who didn't exercise during their pregnancies ;)

One last thing, there is a hormone released during pregnancy that loosens all the joints, thus allowing your uterus to expand in your pelvis (as well as your knees, ankles etc...). We are more prone to injury so we have to be more careful not to twist anything.
