6 Weeks Pregnant Amp Bleeding

I got home from a 9 hour road trip yesterday, and found I had 2 large brown, dried blood spots (size of baseball each). Called doc, said could be normal 'spotting'. I have had light period like bleeding since, and super mild cramping in the last hour. Has anyone had anything like this?

YA I HAVE MY DOC SAID ITS JUST OLD BLLOD FROM WHEN YOUR PERIOD WAS SUPOSE TO START , STOP WORRING,I THINK WE ALL JUST WORRY OURSELFS UNTIL WE GET OVER THE FIRST TRIMESTER,IVE EVEN HAD SOME BLEEDING, BUT THE BABY FINES, IM 10 WEEKS ONLY 3 MORE WEEKS FOR ME THEN I GRADUATE TO 2 TRIMESTER

I know this is really weird, and I realize that I am very lucky, but I spotted for almost 4 months straight. I kept going to the doctor trying to figure out what was wrong me or my baby, they diagnoised me as having a Threating miscarriage, but still everything was fine. I am now 5 months pregnant and my baby growth so far is good. ( the bleeding stopped.) As a matter of fact each ultra sound they gave me you would see my baby moving and in perfectely good health.
Another option they thought I had fibroids. I was later tested for that and they didn't see any.( Thank God)
What I believe is that I got preganat to fast after taking birth control pills and my body didn't get a chance to adjust as quickly. ( Just a suggestion)
My advice to you, Stay off your feet!!!! I notice my spotting will slow down the more I stayed off my feet. Try not to get upset. My doctor told me that it could be an emotional state that triggered the bleeding, and remeber not to stress. My doctor also told me you are more safe if your spotting is brown, this indicates old blood as opposed to red blood which means new blood. Pink spotting indicates it is almost over or just beginning. Don't stress, and Put God first. I will you happiness in your preganacy and Congratulations.

I too had spotting and slight bleeding during my 6th week.. with a lot of cramping. did an ultrasound , couldn't find embryo or hearbeat.. found only a sac in the utreus. is this normal ?
another ultrasound to be done on 7th week. doctor has asked to take rest for a week. hcg and progestrone levels are fine.
Britt, I would suggest you do a blood test to check your hcg and progestrone levels

Yes. I have 3 children 15, 14 & 12. Bleeding occured up-2nd month with 1st child. Up-4th month with 2nd child. Up-7th month with 3rd. 1st C-section. 2nd & 3rd VBAC. Everything Normal. Maybe pregnant now. Spotting and severe cramps possibly 3 weeks.

Thanks everyone for responses. I have found out for sure today that I have a blighted ovum (embryonic sac, placenta, and no embryo). I will probably have D&C tomorrow. It's very disappointing, but it's not heartbreaking for me since there was never a baby to lose. We will just wait a few months and try again if doc gives ok. Again, thanks all for responding.
