I'm about seven weeks along and for the past week I haven't been able to eat right due to morning sickness which lasts all day. I also lost between 5-8 lbs. I'm able to eat small portions such as soup and crackers but the thought of food makes me sick. I haven't had a real meal since Christmas. Should I be worried or will this subside soon?

I am 8 weeks and feel just like you. Just a few days ago I had to run out of the grocery store! They say it gets better after the first trimester. I hope so!

My wife is going through the same thing. She is 11 weeks and it seem that whenever she thinks about food, she get sick. However, if she has something to take her mind off of it, she is fine. Get around a group of friends, take walks, do what you have to to take your mind off of it.

with my first pregnancy i lost 20 lbs and was throwing up for 8 months straight. I ws in the hospital every other day for iv fluids. The first 6 months i was throwing up all day long but when the dr. put me on zofran, i was able to keep my weight stable. Some women have this severe form of morning sickness that won't go away until the baby is out but luckily, for most, it subsides by the fourth month. I hope that is your case because it is awful to be sick like that. I wish you the best.
