Hi ... im about 30 weeks pregnant and was just wondering if its too early to be feeling braxton hicks contractions? Lately and more and more often ill feel a tightening and my stomach will get rock hard then soft again after awhile.. i dont know what else it could be.. it doesnt hurt at all tho but it happens several times a day

and also, sometimes ill feel some jabbing pains real low at my cervix i guess.. just wondernig what this is ..

I have had braxton hicks since I was about 20 weeks and that is exactly what it feels like... tightens and then relaxes. The little jabbing pains are also normal too. My doctor told me it is a common complaint and she wasn't positive what causes it but she said the baby can poke you there and it will hurt and also it could be blood vessels softening down there. So don't worry, it is all normal for you to feel that :)
