I'm 5-6 weeks along and having some cramps. They started before I found out I was prego and feels like the usual about to start your period cramps. It's not constant at all. It happens after I've been sitting relaxed and get up and do something. It doesn't even last a minute, maybe 20 seconds or so. It's kind of a sharp pain and I have to stop for a second. And then I'm good. I've read it could be the expansion of my uterus? My first one so I'm just checking to see if anyone else has these symptoms. Thanks Mommas :)

That sounds like ligament pain. Its where your uterus is starting to stretch. I had period like cramping at first.

Ive had those cramp/tugging feelings too during 5-6 weeks...now its more a "full heavy" feeling. Im 7 wks and just had ultrasound today and saw babys heartbeat! As long as your cramps arent painful, and there is no bleeding, you should be okay.

Hi there, I'm going through the same thing, know that you arn't alone. I'm 4 weeks going on 5 and having cramping and sharp pains. I even went it and had my hcg levels tested to make sure I was on track. I'm super paranoid, and this is my second pregnancy. I guess every one is different. Congrats, and oodles of luck !

Hi, I had cramping the 1s time I was pregant, not to worry you, but my cramping turned out to be a tubular preganacy. I am on my 2nd pregnancy, not even 2 months later, and I have cramping again. But everything is normal the doctor said. Just have a higher risk of having a misscarriage. I think everyone is different though. My pain is like period cramps and cometimes worse, like extremely sharp pains in my lower abdomen. Best of luck to you!
