I am 17 weeks pregnant and am very concerned that I passed what appeared to be a jump of jelly yesterday, I have not had any pain and there was no sign of any blood, I did have intercourse two days previously and wondered how much this affects discharge. The discharge back to normal today. Does the plug of mucus replace itself periodically during pregnancy or should I be worried. This is my fourth pregnancy you think I should know this stuff!

Clear discharge during pregnancy is quite common, but you should note any changes in colour, and scent as it could be a sign of an infection or miscarriage. If you are concerned, talk to your doctor.
