I am on my 17th week and since 4 days I have very bad gas pains in my abdomen. I never had them like this before. They have been very annoying for three nights but over the weekend they got better. How do you deal with such pains?

Hi there, I'm 17 weeks 5days and I too am experiencing these annoying gas pains. Don't know what to do about them either but if anyone else out there knows anything it would be nice to know. It's really uncomfortable at times and kept me awake a few nights ago most of the night.

geez im only 10 weeks and have had gas pain from day one. Well my gas pains are extreme cramping, not sure if thats how its suppose to feel. Usually when I get gas pains I have to go to the bathroom within a few hours..its like a reminder..time to go to the bathroom! hehe. I just deal with it i guess, not sure how to make it feel better. i dont want to know how bad it will at 17 weeks!

Hey guys, Im 36 weeks and still experiencing gas pains and pressure, so sorry to burst your bubbles its not going to go away!!!!!, I find that taking either Ovol 180mg or Tums Gas Relief 180 mg helps lots!!!!!, they are ok to take because they are made with simethicone which is not absorbed into your blood system...something that has to do with the inactive chemicals in the med. Also dont eat foods that cause you lots of gases, myself as an example i lived off of green vegies when i was first pregnant and that caused me to have LOTS of gas, so i cut way down on those and its helped alot, greasy foods have the same effect. Water helps to break down your food so keep hydrated and try excersising it keeps your digestive system rolling. Good luck hope this helps a little
