I am 5 weeks pregnant, what is going on here? Anyone experienced this? It's dry and raw in a few small spots, it looks almost like it has ripped in the 2 spots. Driving me nuts because every time I pee (which is often) it burns and iritates the spots. I know I don't have an STD, been checked. My husband and I had a "quickie" the oher day...too dry...too quick maybe??? I'm at a loss.

yeast infection. I had it when I was 4 weeks pregnant. I'm now 11 weeks.

Really? It can cause those tears in the skin? I never knew that. It's driving me nuts! So just get an over the counter thing then huh. Is it safe during pregnancy?

Yes, sounds like a yeast infection. I had the same thing - and a very bad yeast infection. Was so bad - there were open sores in the back of my cervex causing me to spot at 20 weeks. Because your cervex is so thick and tightly closed, you may not have discharge or odor. I had neither - only the dry, painful, raw spots on the outside. Go to the doctor - they can give you Diflucan (one pill) and cream for the outside. They both helped! I felt stupid for not knowing the infection was there, but the doctor rea__sured me that during pregnancy, your body is hard to read and you may not have the same symptoms as when you're not pregnant. Don't wait! The cream helped within the first day (as did the Diflucan which works within 24 hours). Good Luck!

Around my first trimester I was really dry...it hurted to have s_x too...looks like you both nees to go shopping at a s_x store and get some lubrication/ You do not have an STD...but...it could be a yeast infection...again you could be experiecning what I had my first trimester. Now that I'm in my 3rd. trimester/ even when I was in my 2nd. I was really wet...so give it 2 more months and you'll be okay!
