I'm 10 weeks pregnant and for the past two nights, after eating dinner, I've had horrible (and I mean HORRIBLE) bloating. I don't even know if I can call it bloating. It feels like gas pushing through my intestines or I'm about to have a BM but I just can't. I run to the toilet and just sit there waiting for something to happen. It hurts so bad that I curl over in pain. I don't know if I eat too much during dinner or is somethings wrong with my intestines. It almost feels like the last stage of labor cramps but it's higher up in my belly so I know it's not my uterus. Has this happened to anyone? I was about to go to the emergency room tonite! I eventually had a BM then got a hot bath afterwards and feel a bit better. What would you do?

Hey chick, don't worry. I've been having the same kind of c___p going on with me for the past few weeks and I'm 8.5 weeks. It happens a lot at night when I'm watching tv in bed and it has also awaken me at 2am as well. I talked to my doc about it and he said that I need to increase fiber intake because what I am experiencing is constipation...yay me. :( Anyways, I have been eating more veggies and fiber hoping to solve the issue. It has not happened for a couple of days, but I have not had a bm in about four days either. Go figure.
