Joint Pain Problems

I am 34 weeks along with my third, for some reason with this pregnancy I have been having trouble with joint pain.. I developed pain in my wrist and numbness in my fingers and now my left ankle is hurting so badly walking is painful. My joints seem to "crack" and "grind" more too... I used to take OsteoBiFlex and it helped but now I can't. I am a runner and very active plus I have two toddlers, I can not deal with being unable to move.. does anyone else have this problem? Did your doctor give you anything for it? Right now I have a brace on my ankle, my wrist, and both my knees.. I am soo frustrated!!!

Well I called my doctor and in case anyone is interested I was told things like OsteoBiFlex are NOT safe for pregnant women, only Tylenol for the pain.

Hi there. Turning 26 weeks tomorrow....the joint pain in your hands is pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. I have it too...and a very bad case of it for the last two months. I also have to wear a brace around my hip area because this pregnancy kills my lower back and I feel sooooo huge and bloated. Yet no one thinks I look very big for being this far along.....so frustrating just like you said. I have to sleep with two wrist braces on every night or I wake up in major pain.

I'm 32 weeks with my 3rd as well, and I'm finding that I'm having a lot more joint pain and numbness in hands and feet then I did with the first 2. My hips are killing me, especially at night, and I've been having pelvic girdle pain in the right side of my groin. I'm fairly ative too and hate feeling like my body is falling apart, maybe it's just sympotoms from having multiple pregnancies, hot bath and tylenol is all I've been doing to ease the achey joints. Only 7 weeks to go!
