well here i am in my 7th week, and i'm totally freaking out. last week i was having sharp pains on the left side of my abdomen. so i called my doctor and she said that as long as its not severe (which is wasn't) and continuous (which it wasn't) it was probably gas. it did subside somewhat after that (because i finally was able to go to the bathroom). since then i have had very minor aching in the same spot and it is slightly tender to the touch. now today, i began having more of a strong pain, again on my left side, that radiated around to my back. i totally freaked out and started histerically crying. my fiance quickly picked up the phone and called my doctor and she said she wants me to go for an obstetric ultrasound. my question is, has anyone had any of these type of symptoms before and have you had a sonogram for it? i am so upset and scared as this is my first and every little pain scares me to death. since i foud out i was pregnant, i have been extremely constiated, so can all of this be from that or gas? also, i have been having some shoulder pain, put not sharp pain, its sore like when you sleep on it weird and you wake up and its stiff. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks all.
