Pooping Blood

Okay, so this is really gross but I am scared to death right now. Yesterday I was going to the bathroom and I had to poop and I didn't think I pushed very hard but when I went to wipe, there was blood all over the toilet. First I panicked because I have had two m/c's already but when I checked the blood was coming from my butt. Does anyone know what that could be? There is no pain and again today there was a bit when I went to the washroom. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You could have internal hemorroids. I got them with my 1st pregnancy, and the only symptom that you have them is bleeding from your b___t. Apparently it's the external hemorroids that burn and itch. My doc was sort of funny because she said "Well, if you have to CHOOSE the type of hemorroid to get, this is the best kind because they don't hurt." I got some sort of suppositories from my doc that helped shrink them a little. Mine went away after I had the baby and lost all of the extra weight. But if yours are bleeding that much, maybe you need to have them checked out. Call your doc... this is not an uncommon thing.

Thank you so much. I didn't know there were two types. I really appreciate your advice. Because they weren't hurting I couldn't think of what it could be. Thank you, and I will get checked out "just in case".

Thank you all. It's just the strangest thing because it was only that one day that happened and since I have been fine. I will certainly mention it at my next appointment, or do you think I should make a special appointment for that? After a miscarriage everything changes, for my other children I never really got too concerned. I guess maybe there just wasnt anything to be too concerned about. Thanks for all your help.
