I'm now 33 weeks and my feet are killing me. They swell so bad I need to lay down flat on my side and raise my feet with 3 pillow sin order for some of swelling to go down just enough for me to walk. Does anyone else have this problem? I do not have high blood pressure and I really need some relife especially since I'm still working for another 3 weeks. :(

your feet can grow to even another size during pregnancy. if you wear heels ditch em- those will hurt your feel AND your back. try wearing different shoes- ones more comfortable. you can always soak them in ice to make them feel better. that's all i could find that would really work.

I'm 33 weeks too and have the same problem. Drink tons of water - the more I drink the less I swell. Unfortunately, nothing can make it go away completely. It sounds like you're doing all the right things though! Just put your feet up as much as possible and stay away from caffeine. My feet hurt so bad that when I get up in the middle of the night or morning I can hardly walk - they feel so tight and bloated, it really does suck!

33 weeks also...my feet are so swollen that none of my shoes even fit anymore. i had this w/ my first pregnancy too. all you can do is drink tons of water and keep your feet elevated when ever you can. i also snack on watermelon throughout the day, so that's extra water w/ out feeling like you're drowning yourself.

I found that taking really hot baths helps with the pain and I've had my husband ma__saging them all week. I think a lot of it has to do with the hormone relaxin that our body is releasing at this point to prepare our pelvis' for labour and loosen our joints, well in my case anyways, because my knees and elbows hurt too!
