So Scared That Somethings Going Wrong

So this is my first pregnancy. I just found out last saturday, it wasn't planned, but we're happy regardless. I basically started bleeding around the beginning of october. I got off my period on saturday, and it started up again on wednesday. I added it all up to stress and so on. I saw my regular doctor last friday because my gyn was out of town. She told me I probably had a hormone imbalance and gave me something to stop the bleeding, she didn't do a pregnancy test or anything. I got up Saturday morning with cramping and increased bleeding. So I got nervous and went to the ER. Pregnancy test came back positive so they sent me upstairs to the OB floor. They did blood work, a pelvic, and an ultrasound. My HCG level was 4000, everything else looked good. He said he really couldn't explain what the bleeding was from and that everybody's body reacts differently. He put me semi bed rest and I'm scheduled for another ultrasound this saturday. The cramping is something I've experienced before, without being pregnant. It also comes with diarrhea, so I've sorta always just attributed it as more a bowel problem than a reproductive problem because I have a very sensitive stomach. Anyways I'm still bleeding, and I've passed a few blood clots... so it makes me extremely nervous.

You should get bloodwork again to see if your HCG level is going up. I had a miscarriage 9 years ago and my story is too much like yours. I dont mean to scare you.

You should probably get in touch with your doctor, and get another ultrasound.
