I'm 6 months pregnant, and my ankle/hand started swelling, but only on the left side. This is the same thing that I had in my first pregnancy, but I never got an explanation from my Dr. Any thoughts?

I am 8 months pregnant, and noticed swelling beginning at 6 months too. It was mostly in my left foot. My doctor said it's nothing to worry about and that it's usually the right side that swells more. Even now that it's gotten worse for me, the left side is always more painful and swollen. I'm left handed, and though it may be a strange thought, i wonder if that makes a difference? Maybe I use my left foot more than my right somehow?

Only my left foot/ankle/leg swells and my doctor said it maybe that my uterus is tilted to the left causing more pressure and slower circulation on that side. There is nothing you can really do to make it go away but elevate it and put ice on it to make it feel better. Hope this helps!

I am 20 years old and I have noticed for about 2+ years now that the right side of by entire body from shoulder to toe is bigger than my left side. I began to notice it more in my arms then slowly in my legs. At time I feel a tingling in my head. My legs feel heavy and my arms do to. When i work out the right side of my head feels wierd. What should I do?

I am 36 weeks and have swelling in my left ankle. Also, I have spider veins on my left leg and a large vericose vein on the left side. My right side is virtually symptom free. I know that my placenta attached to the left side, and wonder if the extra weight has something to do with it.
