Maybe its only me because my tilbone has been broken twice throughout my life from the ultimate sport of gymnastics, but lately everytime I sit down at a chair/couch/grass/ anything makes my tailbone kill!
My doctor said that my tailbone is in a "c" shape and would probably re-break it during delivery. This has made my thoughts of a wonderful less painful delivery float away! Is there ways to prevent having your tailbone break? I was told to use a donut seat to help the discomfort, but I have one of those and it still doesnt cut it. Will this pain be twice as worse after delivery?

Hi, I broke my tailbone when I delivered my 1st baby. It hurt horribly for the first year. If I sit wrong or for mor than 1/2 hour it hurts horribly! I was afraid when I delivered my 2nd that the pain would come back. It did not. I am about to deliver my 4th I get the pain if I sit to long, but never the severity it was when I had broke it. Good luck!

Ive never gone through delivery but what if you opted for a c-section instead of v____al? I know it is more of a recovery time but I would think ANYTHING would be better than having to break that!!!

My doctor wont let me have a C-section without at least trying to see if I can deliver v____ally. Its something that I probably would consider if that was a choice, but I dont think he gave me the choice or the option to choose. Most doctors would rather do a Vaginal birth than a C-section, so I understand in ways, but its still going to be pretty painful if that breaks!
