The Nausea Never Ends Yet

I have not vomited at all, but I sometimes feel the urge to make myself because the nausea never ends. Is it normal to have no appet_te at six weeks? And how do I stop this nausea? I have no money at the moment, and I am taking a trip from denver CO to Columbus OH, via greyhound Bus tomorrow. I don't want to be sick on the bus!

Oh...I also wonder, could it be stopped if I ate something more than just cheerios all day? Seems they are all I can handle.

yes - its normal. I had no appet_te till about 11 weeks and terrible hunger at the same time. Sometimes throwing up doesn't really help much- you are lucky that you don't throw up- I am 12 weeks and still trowing up every day. There are tons of stuff you can try to help with nausea- although nothing really worked much for me . but eating small amounts constantly will help- try eating some protein or bland carbs with protein- like a bagel and cream cheese. I like Preggie pop drops (hard candy to suck on especially when I am in the car) www.threelollies.com. Of course my doctor recommended extra vit b6 and I stopped taking my vitamins b/c they made it even worse.

I am six weeks and have been sick all day every day(not vomiting). I eat LOTS of cheerios, no food at all seems appetizing. I have found though, that if I eat a lot of food, even if I don't want to, I feel better. If I don't allow myself to get too hungry, I don't feel as nauseated. Ginger tea definitely helps too. Even though it smells and tastes gross.

I am at 6 wks now and I had nausea for the past two weeks, never ending! But three days ago I woke up feeling better. I am not sure if it is all the herbal teas I was drinking or am I losing pregnancy signs? Could it be a miscarrage sign? I keep on checking that my b___sts are sensitive. They are stil sensitive but seem to be less so. I don't have any bleeding and only slight cramping every now and then. Yesterday I felt a pain in the lower back on the right side as I was walking at the mall. Could it be MS sign? I hate trying to guess every pain/cramp that my body experiences. :(

I am now ten weeks, ha ha and I did survive the ride, nearly puking five times, but not doing it on the bus. Now my nausea is pretty much gone.. Thanks for all your imput though! and to anastb, I don't think it is M/C, since a lot of women's symptoms fluctuate from what I have heard, just watch out for severe pain and any heavy bleeding

i had horrible morning sickness from 8 weeks to 17 weeks. the only thing i could keep down was plain baked potato, even saltines made me sick. heaven i wouldn't worry about the appet_te thing right now, just try to eat as much as you can and take your prenatals if you can stomach them. i hardly ate for the first 3 months i was pg and couldn't take my vitamins and my boys are still growing just fine at 34 weeks. symptoms do fluctuate too so i wouldn't worry about it unless you'd completely lost all symptoms.

I was the exact same way Heaven. I was so nauseated up until about 14 weeks. Mine was mostly started at about 4pm until I went to bed. I had no appet_te. People would ask me "are you craving food yet", I was like, "Food...YUCK!!!" I'm 22 weeks and feel great, so there is hope!!! Are you feeling any better???

Oh, I forgot to tell you what "somewhat helped" me. 1/2 of a Unisom. My doctor told me to take that and a B6 vitamin but the B6 made me feel worse. The 1/2 of a Unisom somewhat helped. It is a sleeping pill, so it does make you sleepy, but my nausea was at night, so it didn't matter if I was sleepy. Hope this helps.

It is hard to find pills that relieve the nausea by itself. My OB said she had pills for the vomiting but the nausea natta. Its unfortunately one thing we must go through. Unisom helps though for nausea, but make sure and get the normal kind and not the maximum strength. It might increase your heart rate a bit but would help with that bus trip. Maybe you can sleep through it!

Baby you have a long way to go.My sickness started around 6 weeks and I was throwing up everyday straight into my 16th week. That's one thing you need to learn during pregnancy:nothing helps!
