Hey Lee, I'm a little relieved to see someone is in the exact position as me. Because other's on this site are already preg. talking about the brown discharge. I just need to know, if you're not yet diagnosed preg. if this could be a sign. I've never heard of brown discharge being one, but lately it seems it's more and more common. Thing is, about a year ago i was on the depo shot. I discontinued and went to the pill. For the past 3 1/2 months, i've been inconsistant with the pill. So that's my bad choice, but... i'm wondering if it's all catching up to me and this discharge is actually the real thing?? :(... I'll take on responsibility if so, but until then.. someone help me with my worries. PLEASE. good luck to you Lee.

Kellie and Lee - Brown discharge at the time you are expecting your period can be a sign that you are pregnant. You didn't ay how far in your cycle you are ... is your period late?

I have been skipping the "non active" pills for about three months unfortunelty, so that I dont get my period. So it is hard to tell if I am or not. Im going to take a test today after work, im a little worried =/ Good luck to you too Kelli!

My period isn't due for another couple days. I was just worried when I saw this brown discharge. So I looked it up on google and it brought me here. So, I'm just following up with it, by talking to you guys on here. To help! Thanks so much. I took a preg. test, but it's way to early to tell preg. hormones anyway. I'm going to take another in about a week. wish me luck... Any new info i should know about my situation??

Hi, im 7 weeks pregnant, wilth brown discharge, occasional mucus!!!! midwife has told me to rest, but i am real scared!!!!! But we all have to remember, if we are going to mis-carry, then nothing can stop it, we just all need to stay positive x

i have yet to find out if i'm pregnant, but like all of you. i have noticed brown discharge. im due to get my period in a abt a week. do u think there's a chance this is a sign of pregnancy?

My husband & I have been trying to get pregnant now for 8mos. I finally broke down and bought an ovulation kit this past month (sep) followed the directions and found out when my fertile days were. We had intercourse during this time. Well I am 1 week late for my period. I have taken "4"! at home pregnancy tests and all have been negative. Last week around the time I was supposed to start I was really nauseus. I am calling the dr. today to make an appt. as she wanted to see me back this month to run tests if no baby yet. Anyhow, to anyone out there who has children, what are the chances that I could still be pregnant? Could it be possible that I still don't have enough preg. hormone in my system to show a positive result? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am ready for a baby, I want this so bad ! Thanks.

Hi Vicki, I am in the same position as you. I've had slight brown discharge since last Wednesday and I'm 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Am having a test to find out what's wrong in the morning - will let you know how it goes if you like. Catherine (UK)

i was due to start my period last week but instead of blood i got this brown discharge which is very light..almost not worth wearing a towel for..but the pains i have been having in my belly and my back are bad..(past 6 days) i took a hpt yesterday and it come back negative so i dont know if iam preg or not...iam confused..i have had 2 kids already so i dont know if this is just implantation and it hurts so much cas its my third child??

Had a scan today and all was well. Don't give up hope - it might just turn out alright. xx

well i was due to start my period this week. hasnt come yet. but so far no brown discharge again. i dont understand though, i had the brown discharge a week ago. not when my period was due... so does this mean i still could be preg?... please respond someone!!!....

My story is similar. According to my first OB appt I am a little over 6 weeks pregnant. On Tuesday, started cramping terribly bad (cramps stopped before I left dr adn have not returned). Left work and went straight to the dr. Ultrasound showed everything looked good.....I just was not as far along as I thought. Hmm. Then, when I stood up to dress my husband and I saw the blood......al over the table. SO, the doc came back in and checked internally. He saw more blood, but no active bleeding and said the cervix was closed.....all good signs. He then called this a threatened miscarraige. I went home on bedrest and had one more bleeding episode a few hours later. Then about 30 hours of nothing. Last night I started seeing brown spotting/discharge. The nurse said this was just old blood and not to worry. As long as there is no cramping things should be fine. Well, I'm still worried and plan to call again tomorrow. Good luck to all of you.

I have just got off the depo shot in april and have had irreglar periods sncie then. I had s_x on the first of oct. and I have been spotting a pinkish colr and sometimes for about 2 days. could i be pregnant ?someone please answer me fast!!
