I haven't had my period in almost 2 months before this, I had my period almost 3 weeks. The first week it was brown discharge, the second week it was light bleeding and then the third week I only see blood when I wipe. can some one help with this. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. help please

Nama, I know it sounds hard to wait for the scan, but the time will be over before you know it. If you don't want to wait, get the doctor to do the Beta HCG blood test and that will confirm if you are still preg. To everyone who is worried about miscarriage, coming from someone who had had three, all you can do is wait. Some women just go on to have a period, some have heavy bleeding with severe cramps, and some just have intermittent bleeding and then nothing until thier next cycle. I know it sounds impossible in a day and age in which we are used to bieng able to get answers, but there aren't any in this case. I reccomend the blood test. There are alot of Doc's that think too many scans will hurt the baby (NOT TRUE). I had a scan with my last pregnancy, due to the baby having severes anemia, every week. (Twice a week at the end) These scans didn't make any difference in the baby's health. I hope I was of some help.

Can anyone answer Tammy's question, I am in the same boat. Had my period 3 weeks in Oct. I took the pregnancy this Saturday 12/17 and it came back negative, I took it again on Tuesday 12/20 still negative. I still haven't had my period yet. I made an appointment with my doc Friday (12/23). Please give me some kind of an answer that would ease my mind.

why do i have light pink thick watery discharge before and sometimes after my period .......i always have my periods on time but now they only last 3 or 4 days......sometimes i get brownish pinkish discharge...i never have cramps and im s_xually active unprotected

I wish someone could answer Tammy and my question. I was suppose to go to the doctors on Friday but got scared. Not scared of being pregnant but scared that I am not and something else is wrong. I still haven't seen any signs of my period, and just this morning I was throwing up (spit). My stomach does feel a little hard but I can't tell if I am pregnant or not. Yes I did take the pregnancy test 1 week ago and it did say not pregnant. I still don't have my period and now I am getting sick, so if I am not pregnant then I could only a__sume that something is wrong and this is why I am scared.

With the weird period cycle - sometimes there is no explanation. I had a 6 week period - a break of 2 weeks - then another 7 day period - followed 3 weeks later with a pregnancy. Now i am having the good old brown discharge which i now see is pretty common! Will have to do more bloods to see what my levels are doing. women's bodies are far too complicated.

i am 9 weeks pregnant and im having brown discharge can any body help answer my question? is this normal?

i am nearly 17 weeks pregnant and 2 fridays ago i had bleeding i went for a scan and the doctor was happy with my baby but didnt seem to concerned about my bleeding he told me my after birth was low lying but it was nothing to worry about at this stage although this worried me and with christmas etc i felt stressed the red blood has gone away now and instead i'm having brown discharge i wentto the docs again and they done a scan and i saw the baby moving and the doc said everything was okay. does anyone know what this means and should i be worried?? i have no pains. thanks x

I just found out I was pregnant so not more than 4 weeks a long. I noticed last night a small hint of brown discharge. I don't remember any of this from my first pregnancy. I am also having cramping, which I did have with my first pregnancy. Anybody experience this at this stage in their pregnancy?

THanks Lara, YOur words are very much comforting. I'm due for a scan next week and hope everything is fine. Right now, touch wood, the discharge has stopped and even the abdomen pain. Again, your words are very much comforting. THanks

Ok can someone answer this: Is the urine test and blood test the same? I went for a pregnancy test at the client and he only took the urine test, I ask why not the blood test and he said they are the same. I can't believe this is true and a lot of my friends said the doctor was crazy. Well there is still no signs of my period and I haven't seen it since October. If I am not pregnant then what is wrong with me. I do have some symthomps.

I'm about 3-4 weeks pregnant, for the last week or two I have been getting a lite pink color on my tissue paper when I go to the rest room. Also the last week I have been having a brown color on the tissue paper after I use the restroom and a couple of times a dark brown long string thing on the tissue. Am I ok or do I have to worry?

Okay here it goes I'm 30 years old and have had ms for 3 years, my husband and I have been trying for about 1 year. Then I took three test at home and they all came out positive, then went to the doctors and they took a blood test and I was about 3-4 weeks pregnant. The question I have is when I use the restroom I get a lite pink color on the tissue almost everytime. In the last week I've been getting a brown discharge on the tissue and sometimes a dark brown string lookin thing almost like a blood clot but not nearly as big. Is this normal or should I worry.
