hey whats up 21 and i am on the depo shot and i have been on the shot since january 16 and i started my period that day so i got the shot then i got home and stoped didnt start again. i didnt have one in febuary and in march i started having brown discharge what is it i havent been feeling too good so what can it be

HI IM 6 WEEKS PREGNANT BUT I HAD A MISCARRIAGE 2 MONTHS AGO IT TURNED OUT TO BE A MOLAR PREGNANCY WHICH IS VERY RARE BUT WHERE THE PLACENTER GROWS ABNORMALLY I AM BEING FOLLOWED UP AND WAS TOLD NOT TO GET PREGNANT FOR 6 MONTHS BECAUSE SOME CELLS LEFT BEHIND COULD TURN CANCEROUS ALL CHECKS SEEMED TO BE NORMAL LAST MONTH I FOUND OUT I WAS MISCARRYING BECAUSE I HAD BROWN DISCHARGE I HAVE NOW NOTICED A LIGHT YELLOWY BROWN DISCHARGE AND AM AFFRAID I WILL MISCARRY AGAIN ANY ADVICE?

i had my real operiod at first it was light then heavy then it stoped...about a week later i was startin to bleed agin for about 2 weeks then i stoped for about a week now im startin to have brown discharge again.....wat does that mean?

I am only 5 weeks pregnant today. I just noticed brow discharge like I am about to have my period. I am concerned because I started bleeding (6 weeks) with my last pregnancy and had a miscarriage at 10 1/2 weeks. Am I OK or do I need to call my doctor?

I am 9 weeks pregnant and miscarrying as I write this. I started with brown discharge for a few days then it turned into a period with cramping. I also miscarried 5 months ago. I would go see a doctor with any bleeding. Take care!

I Am abot 6 weeks pregnant and i went to the bathroom and seen some brown discharge. I am not cramping or anything but could this mean that I am miscarrying.

Kristen, I am so sorry I don't think people understand what a miscarriage is like until they experience it. My thoughts and tears are with you. I will see my doctor on 6/29 and hopefully things will be OK. I honestly can't imagine going through another miscarriage, it just makes you feel that life can't go on. I have a neighbor who had 4 miscarriages and then finally adopted. When I found this out I wanted to run home crying feeling that I might be telling that same story. Life is so stressful and confusing during these first few months. When I found out I was preg. the dates told us we were 8 weeks - this was the crossing point of the last miscarriage that happened at 10 weeks. But when I went in for my u.s. I was only 4 weeks. I can't tell you how sad and doubtful I was. I started bleeding at 6 wks and then lost the baby at 10 wks last time. I thought I was almost over the hump, but now I find myself worrying every day. I started having brown discharge on Fri. and still have light brown discharge today (Tue.) with just a small amount of blood. I pray to God that he will let me have this baby. I have wanted to be a mother for 5 years now, and it seems like it will never happen. My heart goes out to all of you experiencing the same thing.

Alaina, Thank you for your support it is nice having someone to talk to who understands. It has been really hard but we are taking each day as it comes. Always think positive my prayers are with you. Keep me posted!!

Kristen, I talked with my OB/GYN about an hour ago and she didn’t lean one way or another. It could be a miscarriage or not. She has known women to bleed and carry to term. But my HCg levels are low so that concerns her. She told me to take each day at a time and just remember that none of this is my fault. I pray to God that I can have this baby. It seems that all my dreams of life have been wrapped around being a mom and family. It’s just so hard to think of a loss again. I will just have to wait until my u.s. on the 27th. My prayers are also with you. It is tough, my husband keeps telling me that things happen in a sequence that we can’t understand at this time, but we will have all the answers in years to come or in the after life. Are you going to try again soon? What has your doctor said? I wish you the best.

Alaina, All you can do is wait which sometimes seems so hard. I am still miscarrying went for my 2nd Ultrasound yesterday where they confirmed i had a "missed abortion" I have been bleeding now for about a week hoping it stops soon. I have to go the hospital every 4-5 days to see if my hcg leel drops. It has already .He suggested I see a specialist which we are planning to do. He thinks my hormonal balance is off and that I might need to have my fibroid removed. On a positive note he did say I conceive quickly which is a good sign. Try to have your hcg levels checked to see if it doubles. As long as you are not cramping and bleeding hard you could be ok. Take it easy and keep me informed. I will be praying for you.

Kristen, when I talked to my Dr. she also said that my hormones may be off and may need to see a specialist if I miscarry. We have been doing HCG testing for the last four weeks. My double time was 81 hrs (to long) and now it is even more. My levels are still rising which is good, but not at the rate they should. I have ready a lot on HCG levels and people have had babies with low HCG levels, but it just makes me worry. That’s great news that you conceive quickly. The first time it took us almost 6 months. But our second time around I was pregnant the first week we tried. I think that having a DNC had aided to the quick conception. Good luck and keep me posted, I will do the same.

i am due this saturday and I am 2cm. dialated and 80% effaced. Today I had a large about of discharge that was brown in color. It was a big clot of it. I looked up on the net about losing the mucus plug, and everything I found said that the mucus plug was pink, clear, or a red color. But nothing about it being a brown color. Is this something I should be worried about? Have I lost my mucus plug?

Kristen, I am pretty sure a miscarriage has started. The brown discharge has now turned to blood. I woke up this morning at about 6 a.m. and pa__sed two clots along with some blood. All I can do is cry. I feel that my hopes have been shattered. You always hear of these things happening to other people, but when they happen to you they are earth altering. I have a HUGE problem, because I felt this was my last window until I started into a Radiology school (to study ultrasound) which is three years long. There are no breaks in-between, the school is full time Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. I just feel so hopeless. I am 27; I don’t want to wait any longer. I want to start my family now. But the whole point of going to this school is to have more time with my kids when I graduate. But now I have no children and the thought of waiting three years to start a family kills me. What do you do? Go for the job that you know will make you happy and put kids off for another three years or to have a family and wait on your dreams and continue to work a million hours when they are young? I find it funny because I know that the possibility of me miscarrying right no is high, but there is that small glimmer of hope that I will see the Dr. and she will say the baby is fine, but I am sure she will not. I don’t know what to do I am so confused. I just don’t want to do this grieving processes again, how are you holding up? How are you coping with it? Have you found anything helpful?

I had an IVF done and i am now 9wks pregnant with TWINS!!!. At the end of week 8 i had light bleeding then turned to just brown only when i urinated. I have had the brown discharge on an off for the past few days. Is this normal?

Crystal, from what I have read online some women do bleed and are perfectly fine. Some even have periods during pregnancy. But you should see your doctor, or call your doctor as soon as possible and let them know all your symptoms. I have had one miscarriage and am pretty sure I am having my second right now. My symptoms were brown spotting flowed by a period type flow. The first pregnant I hemorrhaged and had an emergency D&C. This time around (if it is indeed a miscarriage) is bleeding like a heavy period and having clots pa__s when I urinate. So, best thing is to get into the docs as soon as you can. I have always been told to rest and take it easy if you bleed.
