I would definitely call your doctor. I recall feeling generally icky during the first trimester, but I didn't have any chest pain.

I always have chest pain after I eat. I think it is normal...muscles stretching and such...plus, extra weight!

No! It doesn't matter where you are in your pregnancy, chest pain is always a bad sign. You could be having a Pulmonary Embolism (pregnancy puts you at risk for this). Call your OB immediately!

I have been getting chest pains for the last 4 months of my pregnancy. It hurts when I breath in. The pain is only when I sleep. My left side.

Heartburn can be expressed as chest pain, and is very common in pregnancy due to hormones relaxing the valve that keeps stomach acids normally at bay. However, the Heart Center says medical attention should always be sought in instances of chest-related pain or symptoms such as the following: Tightness Burning Squeezing Crushing Choking Radiating pain Numbness Additional sensations (anginal equivalents) such as dizziness, shortness of breath, sweating, faintness or fatigue Any new chest discomfort, especially in patients over the age of 40 Since this is new to you, you should check with your doctor just to be sure.
