I went to the doctor because i am having so much pain and the doctor said i have this cyst.Has anyone ever had this cyst while pregnant.He said everything looked good and this is normal but i was just wondering if anyone else has went through this during pregnancy?

i had the same thing. The dr. has not even checked on it since I was 9 wks. (now 23 wks.) I was told it is normal also and have not had any problems thus far. Good Luck!

My md said it is very normal for some women to have cysts. I believe I have 3 on my left and 2-3 on my right ovary. I started out with alot more, but they are gradually going away, so I'm not exactly sure how many I have right now. However, the largest on my left ovary is 5cm- on the u/s it looks WAY bigger than my little ovary. I have intermittent pain that goies away when I rest, but even with a super large cyst like that, everything else is going fine and I just get a few extra scans at my appts. Good Luck!

Yes, I have one too.
My dr explained that the ovary with the cyst is where the ovary where your little new life came from. Because your body hasn't released new 'hormones' saying it's time for your period, the cyst tends to stay around for a while. If the dr was comcerned he would of taken more tests. Nothing to worry about at this stage, I would think.

I had one with my 1st pregn. It grew to 10cm, then totally went away by 20wks. It is very common so don't worry! I haven't had one with this baby.
