Could My Uterus Be Blocking My Urine S Exit

So I feel like I have to pee all the time at 25 weeks (duh! lol) but sometimes when I go to the restroom, there is only a little bit of urine that comes out and I feel like there is still more in my bladder. Then, i feel like I have to pee so bad a few minutes later! It is especially bad when I am standing or walking allot. I have no burning or odd urine color or smell, so I don't think it is an infection. I have heard about something called a "tilted uterus" in which the uterus is leaning on the bladder in such a way that it prevents urine from coming out properly. Does anyone know about this or have any ideas? has this happened to any of you? thanks!

I'm on 8w3d, but I have a similar problem. I have no infection, apparently, but I have to pee ALL the time and hardly anything comes out. I actually had a catheter put in last week to drain my bladder, and even that didn't work - I had to twist and turn to make anything happen, and then after it was taken out, I had to go even more! Interesting to think that there's something called a tilted uterus, because my doctor is totally baffled. I think he thinks I'm making it up!

wow, you've been through allot with your bladder problem! I think I will try to do more research on the tilted uterus thing to se what info. I can find. It is so annoying to have to pee all the time to begin with, and then for hardly anything to come out is just aggravating! Good luck with your situation and I hope your doctor finds a solution!

Good luck to you, too. At last now maybe this mysterious problem might actually have a name!

I was diagnosed with a tilted uterus when I was about 16. I am 21 and 28 weeks pregnant. I have the very same feeling. However I also get the feeling of the baby dropping on my bladder and having to urinate as soon as possible! I would like to hear more on this theory of yours!

I read about the tilted uterus on a pregnancy page somewhere,I think it was saying that it has to do with the position of the baby in the uterus, but I'm not sure. I have also heard of people having a tilted uterus naturally, but I was told that mine is "normal" so maybe it can happen because of pregnancy and just because that's how you were born. I plan to do more research on the topic soon and I will post back!

hi im having the same problem since i was 27 weeks im 36 weeks now. I asked my doc and he just keeps making me go to the lab for test to see if i have infection and i dont . Then he tells me that its the pressure of the baby and man that pressure is bad at night b/c when i dont wake up to go its so hard for me to go its like i cant feel the urge to pee its that bad. But my urine is so clear and does not smell. good luck

Hi everyone, I have a similar problem - but not as serious. I am almost 17 weeks and have had a problem peeing since about 8 weeks. My ob said it was the location of the uterus, something about it blocking the path from the bladder to the urethra. I have to get to point where I'm about to burst before I can sit down and pee. It has been gettng a little better the last few days though. I would expole the tilted uterus possibilty , I'm going to ask a friend who has a naturally tilted uterus if she had any problems... Good luck all!
