Do i have 2 get a big shot on my back for a c-section or is there other stuff. I am worried of the stories ive heard. Any stories or sites about werid stuff going on after a cection. I heard its bad 4 the back

I believe you will get the same thing as an epidural. These are very safe and there is a lot of information available to you on this subject either online or through your doctor's office. Try not to worry... you will be thinking about your little baby by that point - promise!

It's not really that bad. They give you an epidural, and use a catheter to keep your bladder out of the way. You'll be awake during the surgery, and you'll feel pressure in your abdomen but no pain. Most hospitals allow your husband to be present. The recovery is a little uncomfortable, but you're given medication for the pain. The incision is done where your body creases naturally, and the scar is nearly invisible soon afterwards.

I have had 2 c-sections. I had a spinal both times. The shot is not that bad. I never felt it either time. I also have no problems resulting from the spinal.
