about a week ago i started getting itchy on the outside of my va___a. it's itchy by where my inner leg is. Could this just be dry skin? i have had a difficult time with s_x and have to use a lubricant now.

could be anything really, thrush or tinea possible candidates, both easily fixed, good idea to check it out with your doctor. Thrush usually has a whitish discharge, tinea will be more red scaley and itchy, and mostly occurs on men (jock itch.... boy do men complain when they get this!) but women can get it though usually milder symptons than in men. you could try and over the counter medication for a few days first if you want before visiting doctor....
