i am in the 38th week of my 2nd pregnacy. i have a kidney stone that will NOT pass. Pain meds do nothing. any suggestions?

Have you been to the Dr??? WIth my first I had kidney stones. I didn't know what it was at first but I was in so much pain I though I was in labor adn went to the emergancy room. The Dr. wanted to give me pain meds but I refused for hours because I didn't want to hurt the baby. Finaly, after hours and hours, I finally let them give me a shot of demerol, and I pa__sed the stones soon afterward. The Dr. said I would not have pa__sed it if I didn't take the demerol. talk to doc.
