I tested positive with the blood work but the doctor wanted a follow up with another blood test to make sure levels go up. My problem is that I did something to my back and it feels like a pinched siatic nerve. I am in so much pain and am not having relieve from OTC drugs. Im so scared because I hurt so bad. The on call doctor told me to just take tylenol, they don't call in anything stronger over the weekend. Im doing that but no relieve. Any helpful ideas or remedies?

if it's your sciatic nerve, lay on the side that isn't pinched with a pillow between your legs or try on your back with feet up at a 90 degree angle. Not alot that we can take for pain, but try that, or a ma__sage? Even one of those home ma__sagers might help. I know it hurts a lot! I've been going to a ma__sage therapist once a week for the past month because of it, and also try to walk. My dr. says that could help.

inuk-mama..........thanks for the info. I have been to chiro twice and had a ma__sage yesterday. It is loosening up a bit so if I keep doing my stretchs and ma__sage I pray it will get better. I am only 6 weeks and am scared of this getting worse....ugh! Hope you feel better too.

I slept on my back for the first time last night. Had the blanket and pillows supporting my legs at 90 degrees and I woke up after about 3 hours with the pain completely gone! Mind you, it is back this morning after sitting in this darn chair all day, but at least I know there is relief waiting at home! ;) Today and yesterday it turned into a burning pain down my lower back!? Yeah, hopefully things loosen up for you! I couldn't imagine having that pain for the rest of your pregnancy!!!!
