had a u/s last week at 6weeks and couldnt see a heart beat got to go back in 2 weeks is this normal has this happend to eny one els.

Emma try not to worry yourself hon, when i was six weeks pregnant i to went for an u\s and they could not see a heart beat but a yolk. I went back about a week and a half later and i saw the heart beat and tiny tiny tiny baby. I am now 22 weeks! What i done to take my mind of things was read about the stages of pregnancy. It helped :}

when i was 5 1/2 weeks there was an empty sac.When i went back at 8 weeks we could see the baby and the heart beating.I am now 19 weeks and feeliing the baby kicking.Your baby will be fine.I will pray for you.

Don't worry!!! You are too early!!! I really don't know why doctors do u/s that friggin early - all it does is scare the mother 1/2 to death!! Of course, it's to rule out ectopic, but try to relax. Many women, including myself, had had this happen and have gone back two weeks later to find everything was normal... Keep us posted!
