Is this your first pregnancy? It's pretty common not to feel a lot of movement until a little later on. Picture your stomach as a swimming pool...the baby is floating in there with space all around, kicking and wiggling...but since the baby isn't touching the sides of the pool (your tummy) you aren't feeling it. You can mention it to your doctor at your next visit, but I bet in a few weeks you'll be feeling a lot more movement, as the baby grows.

I am 15 weeks along. I just went in today for a doctors appointment. I was able to hear the heart beat and while listening to the heartbeat we heard 2-3 thumps come to find out they were kicks from the baby. Funny thing is I didn't feel a thing.

I was worried too as I hadn't felt much - at my scan I was told that my placenta is at the front, so this was cushioning the b__ws and stopping me from feeling as much. Maybe you have a similar situation? I'm 23 weeks now and over the past week I think the baby has turned into the incredible hulk: all of a sudden I can not only feel the kicks...but hubby and I can actually see my belly moving with them. Baby has developed superhuman strength! Hopefully you'll have a similar experience at some point soon. But, if you're worried, why not contact your doctor or midwife for some rea__surance?

I am 17 1/2 weeks pregnant and i have not felt any movement either. This is my first baby and i was told that you were suppose to feel flutters by 4months but i havent yet. I think that something is wrong with my baby.

They say not to worry until you are past 28 weeks. That's when you start counting movement. Anything before that you may or may not feel - heck - baby is human, sometimes there;s a need to kick, other times, it's time to be lazy and sleeeeeeep. Perfectly normal..
