Pain After Riding In The Car

I am almost 21 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I was high risk with the first due to an incompetent cervix, i am seeing the same high risk dr. for precaution with this one. This weekend we went on a trip that took about four hours to get there and four hours home. My bottom is very sore, it feels almost like i gave birth a week ago. Could it just be from riding for so long?

If I ride in the car for more than 45 minutes my tailbone becomes extremely sore. I feel like I'm 95 years old when I get out! I'm 24 weeks and I'm finding it difficult to sit still in one position for very long without it becoming painful - whether I'm in the car or in a chair. Very annoying!

Thank you beagle. It's more then my tailbone, it's everything. I sit at a computer all day for my job, so I don't think that is it, but maybe b/c the roads are bumpy and that is a different way of sitting. Thank you!!!
