Pain Where My Waist Use To Be

i am about 38 weeks pregnant and i have been having pains where my waist use to be. they are not labor pains they are more like sharp pains even to the touch. this is my third child and i have never felt this kind of pain. also my hips have been popping out of place for no reason. does this happen to anyone else?
