I am 9 weeks pregnant and I have this really awful lower back pain on the left side...what concerns me is that it started right after I had a very emotional traumatic fight with my boyfriend. My sister said the area I'm having pain is similar to where she had contractions. Is it possible that emotional trauma can trigger contractions or even miscarriage? Or perhaps this is just pain from a muscle spasm triggered by the stress, has anyone else experienced something similar? I'm trying to stay calm and not run off to the ER just yet.....but it is really bothering me a lot.
