im going on 28 weeks and lately i have been feeling these sharp intense pains in my va___a. i cant even lift my leg to get into bed with out this pain occuring. is this normal? and if so what is causing it?

I have had the same sort of pain on and off for the last week or so, beginning at 30 weeks. The doctor said it was normal and could be growing pains, ligaments, the baby putting pressure on a nerve, etc. etc. That being said, if you are worried, I would call the doctor or schedule a visit just to make sure. It is always better to be safe and have things checked out!
