hei guys i am 34weeks preggnant and on monday i started getting really bad pain in my belly...so i went to the hospital and they told me that i was about to have the baby...so here i am three days later no baby but really strong contractions and they dont know what to do so they sent me back home...but i have a feeling that something isnt right...i need help can someone give me some advice...they took three blood tests from me since monday and three pee tests and nothing wasnt wrong so they dont understand why i am having so strong contractions but no dialation...just the normal effacement...which when i first started i was 5 centimeters and now i am 3.5centimeters but no dialation....do u guys think that i will have the baby soon probaly this week????? need help

hey sweti.. your going to have that baby very soon! just like every child is different, so is every labor.... your just having early contrations, it does worry me though that your not dialated at all, you might have to have a ceserian section... but dont let that freak you out! so all in all how much have you been in the hospital? and im wondering why they sent you home when they thought you were about to have the baby, why didnt they keep you there for monitoring??? even though you might have had "problems..whatever you call it" with these people they are helping you give birth and they do know what they're taling about or they wouldnt be there...does that help, if you could go back to the hospital i would though, your bundle of joy is ready to come!

hei foxy all in all i have been in the hospital three times..and they dont want to induce me me of do an c-s...i feel confused i am so worried

Be thankful that your body seems to want to practice but wait. 34w is still a little early. Just relax, use this time to practice your breathing, and get some reading done. It sounds like your good hands. Mother nature knows what she's doing. Good luck!

I have been having the same problem. My contractions started at 26 weeks. I am now 33 almost 34 weeks. I have been in the hospital 3 times now because they are just so strong. They are usually anywhere from 3-10 mins apart and they have only stopped once about 4 weeks ago when they gave me a shot of this stuff to stop them because they were coming to fast and doing nothing to my cervix. The shot only worked for 3 days and they started again. I have been on bedrest for about 4 months now and even doing nothing has stopped them. The drs keep telling me that I just have an irritable uterus and I have a very high base line of contractions. I have an appt on Friday and they said they would start talking about inducing me after 34 weeks since I have been in so much pain. So hang in there. One of these days your baby will come.
